ASFRC - The Student Voice on Campus
The Associated Students of Feather River College (ASFRC) is a self-governing body recognized by the College President and Board of Trustees and is an important component of the college's shared governance structure. ASFRC officers serve on campus committees that are involved in the processes by which policies are made and college actions are determined. ASFRC officers are responsible for bringing committee information back to ASFRC Government meetings for input. And as a reminder, all elected Student Government Officers may also participate in the Student Ambassador Program!

My qualifications, background and/or experiences that qualify me for the office chosen above are:
I was your Student Trustee for the 2022-2023 year and with that I gained a lot of insight in how student government can help students make a difference on campus. I take my role as ASFRC officer very serious, as well as student concerns, and I am passionate about representing the student body.
My vision for carrying out the mission of the Associated Students of FRC includes:
During my time as Student Trustee, I have helped to create new student clubs on campus from the STEM club to the English club. I plan to carry on this mission of uniting the student body and helping to create more on-campus events.

My qualifications, background and/or experiences that qualify me for the office are:
I've been able to serve in a number of past leadership roles including team captain of my high school basketball team and president of my community's young women's group. These roles as well as others have given me valuable knowledge, skills, experiences that would benefit my position as vice president.

My vision for carrying out the mission of the ASFRC includes supporting the ASFRC president, being a voice and an advocate for FRC students, and bringing new ideas for student support and involvement.

My qualifications, background and/or experiences that qualify me for the office chosen above are:
I am a very hard worker and super organized with everything I do, it helps me to keep a timely schedule. I held an officer position in high school for my specific grade. I was involved in multiple leadership activities in FFA, including the green house project, adopt a highway, old cow hand reunion, raffles and silent auctions. I did so much in this program that I got to attend state FFA convention and the national FFA convention while in high-school. Everything I achieved plus my grades gave me the opportunity to provide a speech for my graduation as the salutatorian of my class. I feel that all of these things display leadership, responsibility and commitment; and for these reasons, I would like to be considered for VP. I haven't done much since returning to college but I hope to change that soon.

In the past, I have held a few leadership positions. I was treasurer for Key Club in high school for two years as well as ASB treasurer my senior year. I am a very hardworking and organized person who wants to help make the students experience at Feather River a priority.

My vision for carrying out the mission of the Associated Students of FRC includes getting students more involved. Additionally, I want to make the students college experience at Feather River better overall. I want to be an advocator for the students and address any concerns or needs they may have.
